Today at Haymarket, somewhere between the 6 for a dollar peaches and the 3 lbs for $2 tomatos, I saw a ~13 year old with shaggy blonde hair, a Red Sox hat, and an Abercrombie shirt struggling with his family to go against the flow of traffic. As I passed by, I heard him remark solemnly to his mother: “Now you know what I feel like all the time. Everyone else is going one way, and I’m going the other.”
